Songs "B"

BUCKETS OF RAIN

Bob Dylan

[D] Buckets of rain, buckets of tears

Got all them buckets comin' out of my ears

[G] Buckets of moonbeams in my hand

[A] You got all the [G] love, [D] honey baby, [A7] I can [D] stand

[D] I been meek and hard like an oak

I seen pretty people disappear like smoke

[G] Friends will arrive, friends will disappear

[A] If you want [G] me, [D] honey baby, [A7] I'll be [D] here

[D] I Like your smile and your fingertips

I like the way that you move your hips

I [G] like the cool way you look at me

[A] Everything a-[G]-bout you is [D] bringing me [A7] mise-[D]-ry

[D] Little red wagon, little red bike

I ain't no monkey but I know what I like

I [G] like the way you love me strong and slow

I'm [A] taking you [G] with me, [D] honey baby, [A7] when I [D] go

[D] Life is sad, life is a bust

All you can do is do what you must

You [G] do what you must do and you do it well

I'll [A] do it for [G] you, [D] honey baby, [A7] can't you [D] tell.

I play this with a capo on the 2nd fret.

The chords are then played as:

[D] = [C]
[G] = [F]
[A] = [G]
[A7] = [G7]

You'll find that you can play something quite like the riff on the first two lines of the verses by holding the [C] chord shape, and doing variations with your middle finger hammering on and off the D and G strings, second fret.
